Serving and carving your Holly ham
Use a clean, sharp carving knife and carve only what you need, keeping the remaining ham chilled. Slice thinly for platters and sandwiches, or cut more generous slices for the Christmas table. A whole or half ham on the bone makes a striking centrepiece, while boneless ham gives neat, consistent slices with minimal fuss.
Glazing and festive flavour
A honey, mustard, maple, whisky-orange or brown-sugar glaze adds a glossy festive finish. Follow the preparation guidance supplied with your chosen ham or gammon, as cooking and glazing requirements differ between ready-to-serve ham and gammon that must be cooked at home.
